Project management is a way of life. Here are is how I approached ‘Finding a new job’ like a project and broke it down at a tactical level. I created a project plan in Trello to track my activities and next steps.

Presenting 5 steps how execute ‘Find Job’ project.

Step 1: Prep- Update your CV/profile on job search sites- LinkedIn, Indeed and various other relevant job portals. Set up job posting alerts for the interest positions.

Step 2: Reach out to recruiters or people you have worked with before (managers, leaders) that can recommend you.
I personally updated a list of tech recruiters/talent teams who had contacted me in the past.

Step 3: List targeted companies hiring or industries you have relevant skill sets and knowledge to showcase.

Step 4: Create a daily routine and apply to openings of your interest, prep for the interviews (So you confident and not stuck if someone calls you), keep following up ( be proactive and demonstrate value you can bring v/s asking job)

Step 5 : Engage in networking events, keep learning and joining discussions in communities.

There are opportunities to explore, competition is high so it will take time but be open keep the faith and do your best. As individuals we have to work on what is within our control and keep performing.
